Automag Magnetic Filter
The Automag magnetic filter is a fully automated unit which is ideal for 24/7 machining operations. With high contamination collection capacity and an ability to handle high flow rates, Automag is widely used on high volume production lines.
The Automag has two flow chambers. Fluid enters the inlet chamber where primary filtration takes place. The partly treated fluid flows into a second chamber where it is slowed down so that the final filtration treatment can take place. It then returns to the process.

No consumables required

No loss of fluids
Automag, combined with a cartridge drain cleaning device, no liquid is discarded with the contaminated filter.
No pressure increase
Even if it is saturated with contaminants, Automag does not produce any backpressure that could lead to ruptured cartridges or filter bags. By design, the Automag ensures constant pressure.
The magnetic body is the only moving part of the Automag. These cores are enclosed in stainless steel tubes, the liquid does not come into contact with any moving parts.
Automag eliminates submicron magnetic contamination to improve surface finish and overall mechanical accuracy.
Ready for an API
All Automag models can be supplied with an industrial programmable logic controller (PLC) for communication with machine tools or auxiliary equipment. The API also allows you to use multiple Automag in parallel.
The unique two-chamber configuration ensures maximum filtration. The liquid is slowed in the Automag before being distributed around the magnetic cores.
The magnetic cores are made of neodymium-iron-boron, the material with the strongest permanent magnetic power. When these cores are associated with pole concentrators, high intensity magnetic fields are created to attract even sub-micron particles.
The purge valve opens automatically during the cleaning process. The fluid is then directed to a reservoir for collecting contaminants. The Automag lets a given amount of liquid pass so that the contaminants are transported to the tank where they can be recycled and dried.
