UNIST MQL Spray Nozzles are designed to precisely apply small amounts of lubricant directly to cutting tools and workpieces. Used with Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL) systems, they deliver lubricant to the cutting interface to help reduce friction, extend tool life, and improve machining conditions.
Available in a variety of rigid, semi-rigid, and flexible configurations, these nozzles accommodate different machining operations, including milling, drilling, tapping, and turning. UNIST offers multiple spray patterns, nozzle lengths, and mounting options to meet the specific requirements of each application.
UNIST MQL Spray Nozzles deliver a controlled amount of lubricant directly to the interface between the cutting tool and the workpiece. This lubrication method helps reduce friction and heat generated during machining while minimizing fluid consumption compared to traditional flood coolant systems.
The nozzles are available in different configurations, including co-axial and single-line designs. In a co-axial configuration, air and lubricant travel separately to the nozzle tip, where they are mixed to produce a consistent spray. Single-line configurations use an air and lubricant mixture prepared upstream of the nozzle.
With multiple spray patterns available, the nozzles can be adapted to different tool geometries and process requirements. Flexible and semi-rigid models make spray positioning easy, while rigid models provide greater stability for applications requiring consistent nozzle placement.
UNIST MQL Nozzles can also be used for other fluid dispensing applications, including mechanical component lubrication, coating applications, and the application of release agents or rust preventatives.

Positive displacement pumps are the key to supplying a measured, repeatable volume of fluid to any style of Unist spray nozzle. Positive displacement means that each and every time the pump cycles, the same amount of fluid will be dispensed. Easy adjustment of fluid and atomization air means dialing in the perfect amount will be a breeze once the nozzle is mounted and positioned.
The conical spray pattern produces a concentrated spray with an angle of approximately 15° to 20°. It is suitable for applications requiring targeted lubrication, particularly near cutting tools.
The fan spray pattern produces an elliptical spray with an angle of approximately 80° to 100°. It distributes lubricant over a wider surface area, making it suitable for coating applications or lubricating moving parts.
The radial spray pattern provides 360° lubricant distribution around the nozzle. This configuration is particularly suitable for applications requiring lubrication of interior surfaces, such as tubes.

Unist spray nozzles are available in coaxial (2-line) or single-line configurations, each in a wide variety of styles. Coaxial nozzles keep atomization air and fluid separate up to the point of application whereas single line nozzles mix air and oil right after the pump.

This flexible plastic nozzle allows easy adjustment of the lubricant spray direction. It can be repeatedly bent and repositioned to accommodate different machining configurations. With a standard, radial, and fan tip. Available with or without a stainless steel tip, which helps protect the nozzle end from damage during machining operations.

This semi-rigid copper nozzle offers a balance of flexibility and rigidity. It can be bent and shaped to direct the lubricant spray while maintaining its position during operation. With a standard, radial, and fan tip.

This stainless steel nozzle provides a strong, rigid construction. It is suitable for applications requiring stable lubricant spray positioning without changes to the nozzle orientation during machining.

This flexible steel nozzle combines mechanical strength with flexibility. It is designed for demanding industrial environments where robust construction and adjustable positioning are required.

1/8" outside diameter.

This configuration features two semi-rigid copper nozzles connected to a single distribution block. It allows lubricant to be directed toward two separate areas from a single connection.

For OEMs we offer custom nozzles to ensure the best solution for your application
Various mounting options are available, including magnetic mounts, fixed mounts, and articulating arms. These configurations allow precise nozzle positioning while maintaining the desired orientation during machining operations. Multiple mounting configurations are available for both standard and saw nozzles.
