IDEAL HSS-TEC circular saw blades are designed for industrial metal cutting. Manufactured from M2 or M35 high-speed steel (HSS), they offer precision, strength and cutting quality for solid and tubular metal cutting applications. Featuring a positive rake angle tooth design and available with IPC C hard coating, these blades meet the demands of industrial cutting operations, particularly for carbon steel and stainless steel.
Available in two specialized versions, HSS-TEC SM and HSS-TEC PT, they provide cutting solutions for small solid material cross-sections, as well as metal pipes and tubes.

IDEAL HSS-TEC circular saw blades are manufactured from M2 or M35 high-speed steel (HSS). Designed for industrial metal cutting, they are particularly suitable for carbon steel and stainless steel applications, delivering precision and high cutting quality.
Their Hook Tooth geometry, featuring a positive rake angle, is designed for industrial sawing applications. HSS-TEC blades can also be resharpened multiple times, extending their service life and helping control cutting tool costs.
For cutting small solid material cross-sections, HSS-TEC blades are primarily used on stationary automatic cutting machines. They can also be used on certain flying cutting machines, depending on production requirements. In these applications, the blades must always be used on single-head sawing machines.
For these solid material cutting applications, HSS-TEC blades are always equipped with IPC C hard coating (Individual Performance Cutting®). This coating reduces friction at the cutting edges and increases their hardness from 900 to 3,400 HV (Vickers hardness)
The higher cutting temperatures permitted by the coating also allow for the use of oil mist instead of conventional coolant, when cutting conditions are appropriate.

HSS-TEC SM blades are specially designed for cutting small solid metal cross-sections, particularly carbon steel and stainless steel. They are primarily intended for stationary automatic cutting machines and can also be used in certain flying cutting applications.
Available Blade Diameters: 250 to 360 mm

HSS-TEC PT blades are designed for industrial cutting of metal pipes, tubes and profiles, including thin-walled and thick-walled workpieces. They are available in different tooth configurations, allowing blade selection according to the dimensions and characteristics of the material being cut.
Available Blade Diameters: 250 to 360 mm
IDEAL HSS-TEC® circular saw blades combine the properties of high-speed steel with cutting characteristics suited to industrial metal sawing applications.
IDEAL HSS-TEC SM circular saw blades designed for solid material cutting are equipped with IPC C hard coating (Individual Performance Cutting®).
This coating reduces friction at the cutting edges and increases hardness from 900 to 3,400 HV. The higher cutting temperatures permitted by the coating also allow for the use of oil mist instead of conventional coolant in suitable applications. IPC C coating helps extend blade service life while maintaining cutting performance.
Lubrication and operating conditions must be adapted to the blade configuration, material and cutting machine.
