Job Description

The director will have the mandate to ensure the good management and performance of everything that is not directly commercial (sales development), marketing and financial. You will oversee:

Management of operations : Plan, organize, direct and control the operations of the various divisions and services under your responsibility (production, customer service operations)
Supplies and inventories : Ensure strategic and optimal management of purchases and inventories
Human resources management: Coordinate, mobilize and participate in the development of human resources under your wing (7 people): such as hiring, health and safety, needs planning, training, disciplines, etc.
Management of profitability and growth of the company : Develop and analyze performance indicators. Improve the effectiveness of results. Manage projects (quotes-cost-controls). Actively participate with the management committee in the development, implementation and monitoring of the company's development and growth strategies.

Requirements

Academic Requirements :

Any relevant training: administration, production, industrial management, mechanics; project management.

Experiences and practical skills :

Minimum 5 years experience in managing operations in a manufacturing or distribution company, industry (asset)
Practical experience in human resource management
Experience in supply, negotiation and inventory management
Functional Bilingualism (Relationships / Communications with Customers, Suppliers and Partners)
Be extremely skilled and comfortable with the Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
Familiar with import and export operations, transportation and logistics
Project management
Budget monitoring / analysis
