The Filtramag+ magnetic filter's high-intensity patented Neodymium magnetic circuits make it extremely effective for use with materials which have lower magnetic permeability such as tungsten carbide and cast iron. This magnetic filter or coolant separator offers significant cost, quality and environmental benefits over traditional media based filters in precision metal cutting and drilling applications and also industrial wash systems.
With a stainless steel construction, Filtramag+ filtration system is ideal for use in harsh chemical environments and wash systems. Integral Dual Flow Technology TM ensures that extraction rates are maximised as ferrous particles are exposed to the magnets twice on a single pass through the filter. A super strength 11,000 Gauss model is also available.
An optional mesh strainer is also available to remove any non-magnetic contamination. Filtramag+ also features the patented non-block magnetic circuit design which ensure fluid keeps flowing even when the filter is fully loaded.
Typical Filtramag+ applications include, CNC filtration, grinding machines, honing, lapping, EDM and wash station filters. Typical compatible fluids are most metal cutting fluids, coolants, fuel, ink, paint and wash solutions.
Filtramag+ is the most efficient filter of its type. The dual chambered design means that fluid is exposed to the high intensity magnets for the maximum time thus ensuring almost 100% of contamination is removed on first pass through the filter. The patented magnetic circuit on the 4,000 gauss version design ensures that the filter can never block even in high contamination applications.
High intensity magnetic cores ensure particle filtration down to sub-micron size. For standard machining or wash system applications a 4,000 gauss magnetic core pack is available. For applications which involve lower magnetically permeable materials e.g. Cast Iron and Carbide or require an ultra-precise surface finish an 11,000 gauss magnetic core pack is available.
