Micromag HP50 magnetic filter or coolant separator provides all the same operational benefits of the standard Micromag such as disposable cost savings, longer fluid life and better product surface finish. In addition it is compatible with speacialist coolant installations such as high pressure through-spindle coolant filtration applications, where the smallest of ferrous particles can damage seals, spindles and reduce efficiency of the cutting tool. Micromag HP50 is also ideal for applications which experience variable pressures and rapid pressure surges during start up. With a full Aluminium construction this coolant filtration unit is robust, durable and perfect for pressures up to 50 bar.
Micromag HP50 can be installed anywhere in the fluid delivery system (pre or post machine). A high strength Neodymium magnetic core ensures that fine particle magnetic and para-magnetic particles are removed before they can cause any expensive damage. The magnets do not strip out vital additives in the fluid such as bacteria inhibitors.
Using the supplied cleaning tool, a fully contaminated core can be cleaned in under 30 seconds. Only metallic particles are removed from the filter and these can be easily disposed. There are no dirty cartridges!
