Flats punching and cutting
Structural steel fabrication requires a diverse number of detail items designed for connections, stiffeners, end plates, cap plates and more. These construction components vary greatly in thickness, width and profile. Thanks to its versatility, the Tipo D4 is the ideal machine to satisfy all the manufacturing needs.
Tipo D4 base system has punching capability with 4 or 8 punch stations each with 1100 kN (124 US tons) force.
A single cut shear with special hold-down systems for the utmost in shearing precision. All shearing blades are manufactured internally to guarantee the best quality and longest tool life.
The marking of pieces is generated with a CNC controlled rotating disc-marking unit with alphanumeric characters.
The drilling units are equipped with an ISO40 spindle; having a CNC controlled rack-and-pinion servo/motor feeding system.
The drill unit is equipped with a 4 position automatic tool-changing system for quick tool replacement.
Optional equipment is available for the processing of angles in addition to flats. This option includes a second shear and an additional punching station.
Thanks to a laser device positioned on the infeed conveyor it is possible to exactly measure the material stock length prior to processing.
