High performance sections multi-spindle drilling, sawing and thermal cutting
Automatic CNC drilling, drilling & band sawing, drilling & coping lines for sections. The Valiant represents the latest evolution in our drill line range. This product line is a new three-spindle system for the processing of the complete range of rolled structural steel shapes. These new models are the result of the constant commitment by our Engineering Team in addressing the requirements of the world’s structural steel fabricators. In addition to the many industry leading innovative designs and features of the other structural steel drilling lines in our range, the Valiant incorporates several additional unique features and benefits, as described here below.
A new independent hydraulic double vice assembly and dual alignment system to improve material clamping. The vice assembly is made of a fix jaw (used for the datum reference), and of one CNC controlled mobile jaw.
New Direct Drive spindles with reduced shape, size and a longer nose for greater rigidity that delivers 100% of the motor’s power to the tool for enhanced drilling performances.
The auxiliary axis on each spindle generates an additional stroke of 300 mm (11-3/4”), to carry out countless operations while keeping the material rigidly clamped in position. This translates into greater flexibility and unequalled productivity.
A new single or double pincher arm with an auxiliary axis on both arms has been created. The new structure and design has been engineered for both the arm and the pincher to include a larger opening and sensor system. ,
All three drilling heads can be equipped with a brand new tool-change system with 14 positions for each spindle for a complete complement of 42 tools in total.
Thanks to the spindles sub-axis feature advanced milling operations are possible such as helical milling, pocketing, weld-prep, slotting and more.
When combined with a band saw, a magnetic back fence allows for the unloading of trim cuts, small drops and short parts onto the unloading table for short pieces.
When combined with a band saw or with a thermal coping robot, there is no need to add a further CNC unit as the entire system is controlled by a single CNC.
